The Kings County District Attorney’s Office is seeking qualified candidates to serve as Assistant District Attorneys in the Early Case Assessment Bureau (ECAB) which is open every day, morning and night, as well as holidays. ECAB assistants will also have the opportunity to arraign misdemeanor and felony cases. Arraignments and their outcomes – particularly bail settings – draw significant scrutiny, and bail was one of the District Attorney Eric Gonzalez’s first key reform initiatives. Arraignment ADAs will have a unique trust and responsibility in the Office and will be required to make fair decisions everyday while making Brooklyn safer.
